A 1972 Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, part of the Dare to Dream Collection, has been sold for $4.9 million. The car was offered during the RM Sotheby’s auction in Toronto, Canada.

This Lamborghini Miura SV has had an illustrious ownership history. Past owners include Jay Kay of Jamiroquai. It even featured on Top Gear in 2004. In 2015, the car underwent a complete restoration at Cremonini Carrozzeria in Italy and remains in concours-quality condition today. It retains its numbers-matching chassis, engine, and body panels stamped with the original 771.

The Miura SV is the final iteration of Lamborghini’s first supercar. It is powered by a 3.9-liter V12 engine with four 3-barrel carburetors, producing 380 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated with a 5-speed transmission, which sends power to the rear axle.

The car featured here is chassis number 4972, which was built on 13 December 1971. It is finished in Rosso Corsa with gold rocker panels and matching wheels. The interior is trimmed in tan Natural leather.
